Batteries can be charged inside the battery grip via a USB Type C cable (not included) or in the dual channel charger. Note: EN-EL15a and EN-EL15 batteries cannot be charged in the battery grip
• Retain Main Functions- With shutter release, command dials, AF ON button, Fn button, and multi selector, you can take vertical shots the same way you shoot horizontally
• Never Stop Shooting- The battery grip is hot-swappable, so you can replace batteries without turning the camera off and keep the shooting sessions going on. Note: The battery grip is only hot swappable when installed with two batteries
