How long is the warranty on the SP Silicon Power prebuilt PC?

All SP Silicon Power prebuilt PCs covers a 3-year limited warranty. Proof of purchase is required for warranty service. Customer will be responsible for shipping or offering failed components for inspectionin case of failure–the requirement for which may be waived by Silicon Powerwhen our RMA Team deems that there is no further troubleshooting needed.

The return period is 14 days from purchase. There is a 5% restocking fee for unopened products and a 15% restocking fee for opened or used products. The restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. All sales are final. There is no returns or exchanges allowed after 14-day return period.

What is covered by SP Silicon Power prebuilt PC?

SP Silicon Power warrants all parts in a SP prebuilt PC that will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below: Silicon Power will, at its option, either repair or replace any part that is proved to be defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials.

This warranty does not cover issues caused by changing components in the PC (i.e. adding storage or additional RAM), abusing, misusing, any unauthorized repair or modification and accidental damage (i.e. liquid damage , power surges, etc.). SP Silicon Power is not liable for any loss of profits or other consequential damages resulting from the use of the products.

Can I get out-of-warranty repair if my warranty already ends?

SP Silicon Power does not provide out-of-warranty RMA services if your original warranty period has ended.

What should I do if I would like to apply for awarranty service?

Before you request a warranty claim, please make sure you do the following:

  • Provide the proof of purchase.
  • Make sure all the information you provide is complete and accurate.
  • Before returning any parts for technical supports, please back up your data on your storage devices and removing any personal or confidential information.
  • Remove any accessories that are not included in our prebuilt PC to prevent any losses that may be caused during the repair process.
  • Perform required procedures during the RMA process, including running diagnostics, removing third-party software, and installing software patches or updates.

Does SP Silicon Power prebuilt PC offer international warranty?

SP Silicon Power prebuilt PC warranty is only applicable in the region where the PC was originally purchased. For example, a PC purchased in United States will only have warranty coverage in United States. SP Silicon Power will not provide prepaid shipping labels forcustomers outside the original purchase region. Also, SP Silicon Power will not ship abroad for any repaired parts or replacements.

Does SP Silicon Power offer upgrade service fora prebuilt PC which is still under warranty?

SP Silicon Power does not offer any upgrade or modification service after a prebuilt PC was sold.

Will my warranty be voided if I upgrade my Silicon Power prebuilt PC by myself?

Any changes made to your SP Silicon Power prebuilt PC after purchase are not covered by warranty and may void your warranty. If your PC requires warranty service, it must be returned in its original condition. Any modified PC may be rejected by our RMA Team and could be returned back to you at your expense.

Changes that may cause voided warranty include, but are not limited to:

  • Making irreversible physical modifications to the PC or its components, such as cutting holes, drilling, painting, gluing additional parts, or swapping/ re-shelling the case.
  • Overclocking or undervolting any internal components.
  • Upgrading or replacing any internal components, including CPU, GPU, memory and storage.
