Description
[Product Features]
• [Upgrade To New And Faster Possibilities] The PD60 turns your M.2 M-key PCIe NVMe or SATA SSD into a portable hard drive for whenever and wherever you need it. Transfer data rapidly up to 10Gbps via its USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface with the included Type-C to Type-C cable. It's also backwards-compatible with USB 3.1/3.0/2.0 at their respective speed limits.• [Shield What Matters To You] The aluminum body is durable enough to protect your SSD, yet light enough to toss in your bag and hardly notice it, making it the perfect travel companion. It also provides superior heat dissipation, which is further enhanced by its slide design, allowing excess heat to escape when the cover is removed.

Get what you need with direct access from Type-C laptops, desktops, and OTG-enabled phones or tablets. It works with Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android for complete support.
• [Simple Installation, Many Benefits] The PD60 does not require any tools or screws, offering a simple SSD installation that only takes a few seconds. In return, it grants the ability to take your SSD anywhere with 360° protection and lightning-fast speed access to your data.

I bought this as a means to transfer the data from my old 1TB Intel 660p to my new SiliconPower US70 2TB. Honestly, it was quite a bit faster than I expected. It got that just done within a more-than-reasonable amount of time. My Intel 660p now lives in this enclosure and acts as a 1TB flash drive. I don't think I could have spent my money any better, to be honest.
In daily use, I have absolutely no complaints. I am constantly imaging the drive within this enclosure as a part of my work duties. Even compared to my fastest USB 3.0 Sandisk Ultra, the PD60 has about a 4x faster transfer rate (mind you, that's to a cut-rate Intel 660p NVMe drive).
This enclosure presents the drive as a bog-standard UAS mass storage device, making it compatible with pretty much everything. It even automatically installed the drivers on a Windows 7 machine today (which I found kind of surprising).
If you find yourself in need of a very large external USB drive, pair this with a 1TB or 2TB US70 for a great experience.
The only complaint I have about the PD60 overall is that it only comes with a USB C-to-C table, which limits your options when it comes to device compatibility. I had to purchase an extra A-to-C table from Amazon so that I can use it with the majority of machines that I work with on a daily basis. SiliconPower, please include an A-to-C cable in the future as well. As much as I'd love every device to support Type C, it's far from a reality. I would have happily spent a few more dollars on the drive for that addition.
Greatly built. Very Satisfied
